Will do, I'll definitely post up pics over on driver when I get them installed. More than likely, I'll end up ordering the tail light overlays as well.

Also a quick tip on these is to know what your doing. The headlights look simple to install but i would get a professional to do the rears I watched my guy install them and i was glad i didnt have too. Unless you are good with a blade and appyling film then get a professional to do it. You dont want something thats gonna be a sore in your eye later down the road.

But none the less Batman sells quality products.

I would of figured the headlight overlays would be harder to install with all of the curves and such. I'll definitely take my time installing them and hopefully can do a good job.

which in your opinion look better with the head lights done also, the gtr cut outs or the full overlay,
the gtr cutouts just cover around your lights correct? Are they the same percent tint or is one darker?

What if you would like to remove this? off head/tail lights
Hi Vinny,

I personally like my GTR Style Overlays, I think they give the car alittle more character with them . Then again, its all about personal preference, thats why I offer variatiopns of my Overlays . For the GTR Style Overlays, I recommend my darker 6/10 tint which is equivalent to 20% tint. You getter better cotrast between the smoked and open faced areas . Can be removed if desired, by simply applying heat to the overlay and slowly peeling off .

Light is not affected by my GTR Kits since the Overlay does not cover any light. Here's my tgtr303 kit on a g35:

Now, here's my Full Smoke Kit, no cutouts. Light output is still pretty good with my darker 6/10 full smoke kit .

I'm not sure how to explain this, but I don't really think overlays will look very good on the G37. Here goes...

on the G35 coupe, the headlight surround was butted up against the shroud. meaning that the 'holes' for the lights met up with the clear plastic. the same is true for the rear lights; the lights were present right at the red plastic.

now, the G37's headlights/surrounds are recessed. meaning that they are a good 4 inches from the front clear plastic shroud. the same is true for the rear lights. the lights themselves are recessed and staggared back from the red, translucent plastic.

so what does this mean? picture overlays on both the front and rears and looking at it either head on or tail on... you can picture that it looks sweet, right? but now, picture from an angle.. the film will still be oriented as with a forward viewing angle, but it will appear that the lights-beit front or rear-are obscured by a portion of the film.

i'm not trying to dissuade anyone from purchasing Bat's overlays as i have respect for him. just look at the lights, think about it logically, and you'll see that i'm correct.

the only alternative is to open the housings and paint inside.

edit: see pic for depth in rears.

from this pic, it seems like i may have misjudged the depth of the headlights. further investigation is needed.

i know i'm right about the tails though.

Finagle, I currently have GTR headlight overlays ordered from Bat. The headlight assemblies on the Sedan are quite similar to the G37, so I'll post up a few pics once I have them installed. Maybe that will give you a better idea of how they'll look on your Coupe.

Yeah, now that finagle mentioned it, the lights themselves seem to be recessed. I can imagine how weird it will look at angles that aren't straight-on. I'll wait to see some actual applications before I pull the trigger.

Some good points here, and I did consider that issue when making the kits for the 37. I had the same issue wit the pre 07 Sedan, yet people still bugged me to make them, so I did. Basically whats most important imo is how it looks straight on, thats what really matters. You cant comprimise light output for the sake of something looking good from a certain angle. Look at my Sedan Overlay below. Same issue in that the lenses dont come flush with the lense housing, but again, I designed it so it would not obstruct the light pattern.

See how its off when you look at it from certain angles. Still, I liked the way it turned out .

Here's the 07 headlamps for the Sedan:
