So how is the back seat???

OK, so most people probably don't care about the back seat, but for those of us with kids I thought I would start this thread. Anyone have a chance to see if a decent sized car seat (like a Britax Marathon) will fit in the back seat using latch? I know sometimes it's s tight fit in smaller cars. Wondering if anyone checked this out yet or had a good look at the rear seat yet.

plenty space babe.

Car is a bit wider then G35C so you get a tiny bit more in trunk space and same in rear seat

I don't think you should worry about that.

Also one more feature I really like about G37 is rear carpet. It's not two piece like G35 has. It's one piece with logo in the middle on the drive line hump. Pretty cool.

But you can't seat more then two in there anyway.

My wife is 5' 1" and she was sitting behind me with no problem. Don’t think kids are going to be uncomfortable.

This is all great news...one step closer to convincing the wife that I need a G37. If only I can get out of my M35x a few months early I would be in business.

I am 6'0 and I felt it had more head room than the previous coupe. And the leg room is fine if the person sitting on the front seat is not that tall.

this is all good info...rarely will I have more than driver+passenger in this car, but I don't know anybody that's ridiculously tall, so I should be good.

Heh I was worried about the backseat also. I'm about 5'7 and I first thought that I was going to feel crammed back there, but was pleasantly surprised. I felt "snug" sitting in the back with those sport seats. Very nice. Now I wont feel as bad when I take this car on a roadtrip next summer with 3 of my friends (tallest is around 5'9) and 2 of them having to sit in the back (one is 5'4 and the other is 5'6 about).

I find that kinda hard to believe.. unless you like slouching while you sit
I'm about 6, and when I sat in the back of the g35 coupe i had to lean heavily towards the middle just to avoid my head hitting the glass. I dont think I could comfortably sit there for an hour...

Ok so I can understand this thread started as someone inquiring if children and child seats could fit in the back, but are people really trying to fit adults into a 2+2 and complaining of lack of room!?

I think the problem with the backseat for 'taller' people is the length of their torso ... leggy people might be a little better off since they can "straddle" their legs around the front seats whereas those who are torso-tall ... you have to tilt your head or else hit the top of the sloping rear windshield.

I can't believe how much I had to lean forward inside an Acura RSX and I'm only 5'9" and not really leggy!!! The G37 will be a piece of cake to fit in the back (for me)

How is the back seat?

It's saving me a ton on car insurance, and it holds my books and laptop just great!

This is coming from a Z convertible guy. It's freaking HUGE. but I wouldn't want to put people back there. God no.
