Does the back seat fold down?

Dumb question. I looked a little but could not find it but I am sure I missed it.

Does the back seat fold down on the new coupe?

As far as I can tell, yes it does fold down, just like the last generation. That is one of my favorite features of the car!

I was under the impression that the seats folded down in the old coupe...am I wrong? If not, that was one small (especially very shallow) trunk.

yes the coupes back seat fold down... theres a handle in the trunk u pull 1st

I wonder how much noisier the cabin is with the seats down.. I really won't ever use those back seats.. Yeah, yeah I know...get a 350Z...

The seats will fold down, the design of the rear center console lines up with the seat mid section. It's the same design as the first gen coupe and other cars with one piece fold down seats. Rest assured.

Yeah, but the sedan doesn't need a rear strut tower brace

I guess I was always of the impression the coupe was more heavily braced than the sedan. (previous generations). Maybe that's wrong?

IDK for sure....
In reality, the difference is likely pretty small.
I don't recall reading much on the effectiveness of the Stillen rear brace.

Base on this pic, yes it does. See the latch on the top left of trunk. Unless that's for something else

Good catch. Pardon the pun.

That's the same latch location as the current version. It's got to be the rear seat pull.

Everything I read said it didn't do anything but that is all anecdotal stuff so who knows. The opening in the coupe isn't that large and it's a pretty beefy structure behind the rear seat and directly across the front of the suspension towers in all 4 directions. That's why you can't access the DSpecs from inside like the premium sedans.
