G37 GTR Gauges: Fall 2024 Update
Fall 2024 Update:
Hey everyone, there has been a lot of progress on the GTR gauges over the last few months.
They have been re-written in a different framework (IDF v5.2), added some new features and data logging to SD card.
I didn't provide any updates, as most don't care about the silly bug/issues I needed to chase down.
BUT most do like actual/visual results, which I now have
The latest version of the GTR gauges have been tested on my G37 for the last two months. The core logic dates back to late 2022 and has worked exactly as expected.
At the end of September, I will be releasing a video showing how to bring up the GTR gauges, show all of the new gauges that can now be displayed and the optional data logging items.
Local testing will start at the end of September to verify they work on the different versions of the G37.
(6MT, 7AT, AWD, and Tech package have different messages on the car's CAN bus)
NOTE:
Trans Oil Pressure gauge is re-purposed to show differential oil temp with optional temp sensor.
The top of the gauge / 12 o'clock = 100C or 212F.
Engine oil pressure data is provided via Bluetooth with our Bluetooth Sensor Server.
Stay tuned for more updates!

Hi Frank.
Question. How would one access the display shown through a stock heads-up display?
Also, can you share some of the prep work we need to think about on the gauge side since many of these values are not available on CAN from the factory. Oil and Trans Temp along with Oil Pressure are of particular interest.
