Update:

Low Outside Temp Warning confirms the ambient temp discrepancy.

Ive read numerous of the individuals having the same issue with their AC.

Based off the FSM these are the trouble shooting steps/test when checking ambient sensor/ connection:
1. CHECK VOLTAGE BETWEEN AMBIENT SENSOR AND GROUND
2. CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY BETWEEN AMBIENT SENSOR AND UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. (Ambient E76 - Terminal 2 - AMP - M67 - Terminal 61)
3. CHECK AMBIENT SENSOR
4. CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY BETWEEN AMBIENT SENSOR AND UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. (Ambient E76 - Terminal 1 - AMP - M67 - Terminal 45)

I started with step 3. I checked Resistance and made sure to was according to FSM spec, it seems that the sensor it self isn't the issue as it was reading somewhat accurate temps, I also purchased a brand new ambient temp sensor and both had identical readings. I plugged the new one in, no luck.

With process of elimination, it seems that it might stem deeper than just the sensor it self, going to follow through the other 3 steps.

Either way the FSM concludes to a bad AMP or a bad AC Ambient sensor connector.

Please be the $80 connector...

Update:

I backed and front probed connector using a multimeter, I probed terminal 1 (green) with a ground, it measured no voltage what so ever. I tried all combinations including the other terminal just for extra measures and no voltage read.

- I had vehicle on and tried with AC on and off.

Purchased a new ambient sensor connector pigtail and plan to splice via heat shrink and see if that resolves the issue if not then AMP is the last component since I see no damages throughout out the harness.

I managed to find a YouTube video almost identical to my problem where a Nissan was reading -22/ Outside Temp Cold Warning that was causing the AC to malfunction, it ended up being a bad connector:

Update ac fixed

Update: AC Fixed

I first want to thank ILM-NC G37S for pretty much guiding me and providing the vital details to fix the situation.

Long story short: I was experiencing electrical issues within my AC system that caused the AC to not function at all, the ambient sensor was also reading icy cold which was ultimately the issue, Nissan has safety mechanisms within the ac system which cause the AC compressor to not operate when ambient temps are freezing. Well I live in Southern California and we don't freeze.. Basically there was an open circuit within the ambient sensor that caused a malfunctioning reading. I fixed this issue by "jumping" the sensor straight into the AMP connector, and basically moved my ambient sensor in my dash... While it wasn't the neatest solution, it had to be done.

moral of the story: Don't over complicate it!

Feel free to DM if you are experiencing the same issue.
