Radio stuck on bluetooth audio menu
My 2010 G37 Vert is stuck on the bluetooth audio menu. The bluetooth isnt even on. No music is playing I can access all of the menus except for am FM. Satellite disc aux USB and all of that. I can turn volume up and down (no music of course) but I cant even turn it off. This started happening after my battery died one time. (Having roof issues too but I'll save that for another post). None of the audio buttons on the steering wheel work either. The one time it did work i was able to do the diagnostic and theres a connection issue with the XM antenna.
Can anyone help me fix this? I'm losing it without my music lol

Hold down the settings button and at the same time spin the volume **** to the left (counter-clockwise) for around 40 clicks (doesn't have to be exact, just keep spinning it). This will open the diagnostics settings. Go through that menu and see if that helps you reset any anything or gives you more information. There is a section that lists any error codes, that could help too.

WARNING! In that menu is a option to "INITIALIZE SETTINGS." DO NOT SELECT THAT OPTION!
Initializing (System) Settings erases the configuration of the AV headunit and it will brick the system. Only the dealership can reconfigure the AV headunit.
Friendly word of advice: DO NOT DO IT!

Did you try disconnecting the battery for a while and see if that resets the AV? Or pull the AV fuses? As long as your roof is up and locked this should have no effect on that regardless of what your issue is with that system.

I've done all of that. The roof is a separate issue.

well let's say it's in the range of $50-$150. I have another post up here with a different issue with the head unit. Used ones can be under $100 but some places are selling certified ones with 90 day warranties on ebay for $150.
