What do you think about this infotainment system?
Found it on Amazon, aliexpress has it too. So far its clear that it will not display some oem functions, besides it seems good enough. Any inputs or suggestions? Anybody has it installed ?

That Amazon unit looks very similar, if not identical to, the Teyes unit that is seemingly popular overseas (Teyes SPro). The Teyes unit has a good following over on Teyes xda-developers.com as well so you may want to search over there for additional feedback/ input.
myg37.com forum member @Nick.l bought aTeyes but was having difficulties getting it installed due to wiring issues. Unfortunately, he is not active on here so I don't know what became of his install.
My main issue with this unit (and the Teyes) is that it looks like someone slapped a tablet on the front of the vents by the way it sticks out. If the display sat flush to the vents, maybe. But, for the record I am not a fan of any of these units, including that Tesla-thing, anyway so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
It seems that most of these units ship with a universal harness with which the installer has to cipher out what goes where. Not always a cake walk, but doable.

any infosystrem is better than factory one for sure... I wouldn't mind giving a try but I don't think I can do the install myself.. if i can enlist someone who can install it at an affordable price, I would do it.
