Does anyone know where in the engine bay is I can run wires from there to the interior easily?

Most folks use the passenger side firewall harness grommet:

There is also a similar grommet. On the driver side but that one can be difficult to access.

Where ILM said is the spot. You’ll have to remove the plastic thing covering your battery to get to it. Poke a small hole with knife (be careful) and feed it through. You’ll have to remove the interior finisher piece in the footwell to get access to the wire comes down but it falls down pretty easily. Just feed from the top, and then pull from underneath, rinse repeat like 6-7 times until you get it all pulled through.

I need to finish wiring mine and was looking at that as well. I was originally considering the driver's side so I don't have to run wire across the bottom of the dash, but I don't have elf-hands so I might have to go this route.

There is a gap in way back that you can run it through to driver side pretty easily.

Like up under the front of the dash? I still have my glovebox out (don't ask) so I kinda have access to that. Not painless access, but...

Yea, if your sitting in the passenger seat, it’s by where left foot would be. All the way back. You just gotta get down there and check it out.

Boo. I'm not as limber as I used to be. Might take the seat out to get access - need to replace one of the leather covers anyway.

Are you talking about where the AC refrigerant lines pass through from the cabin to the evaporator?

Sometimes I forget sedans are a thing so just to be clear, everything I’m claiming is coupe related. Perhaps sedan is the same, I dunno tho.

When I laid down the mass loaded vinyl in my car I cut one piece that wrapped from the left side of the car to the right. It was right over the hump that forms the footwells. Think of the coupe 1 piece floor mat in the back, just like that except all the way up under the dash. If I feed Through a huge piece of MLV through, a wire should be trivial.

I have no idea where the AC lines you are you’re referring to are. But I assure you you can fish a 6 pack of Budweiser through that gap if you wanted to. You may need to pull back and get under the carpet a bit. I’d go look at my car but I dropped it at the body shop this morning and I won’t see her again for almost a month🥺.

My bad, I misunderstood. I thought you were referring to a alternative route through the firewall.

Yes, there is plenty of room to route wires from the pass/driver sides up under and behind the dash - I can't count how many I've run for all my gizmos.

Hmmm... let's see :
- power folding mirrors ;
- JDM mirror "winkers;"
- illuminated kickplates;
- Q60 interior ambient lighting (F/R) ;
- heated steering wheel.

That's about it. For now...
