non-nav to nav replacement 2011 g37x coupe

Just purchased a 2011 G37X coupe. It has a non-nav radio/screen. Looking to replace it with one with nav. Can I replace it with the OEM one with nav? Is the nav connections/wiring on the car or does that have to added?

Short answer:.NO.
Smarta** answer: do a simple search of the forum and you will find several threads regarding this project.
Long answer: it is not a plug-and-play deal. Wiring has to be changed, added, deleted, etc. Additional cables need to be sourced and ALL of the hardware (display, switches (both sets), headunit would have to be swapped.
Nutshell answer: It can be done but is it worth it to you?

Being you have a 2011, you are not gaining anything with the display. If all you want is factory NAV, it is not worth it, IMO, but it is your car- mod it as you will...

Thanks. I did do a search but did not see a clear answer. I kind of thought it’s not easy and not worth it. Would only do it if not complicated. I’ll just get a nice phone holder.

The project is not hard but it is not a 1-2-3 deal either. The factory NAV is next to useless, IMO. Most folks who need NAV use their phones because the maps are more up to date.
