Are you sure Muran can't do this for you? They must have a Consult III, no? That still seems easier than trying to hack together the tool yourself.
Although I must admit, the idea of owning that real deal diagnostics tool is appealing... And if you did get one you'd immediately become the go-to Nissan / Infiniti repair guy in your country!

I just need some knowledge on how to use this.
Like I need to find a USB to OBD2 converter to get at least a connection to my INFINITI.

btw - consult 3 only goes for 2010 cars and older. AND if your 2010 car has had updates, it wont work. e.g. i ran an update on my 2010 nav and the consult 3 couldnt talk to it anymore.
Newer than 2010, you have to get a consult 3 plus and whatever was mentioned before my post.
