Key FOB Ignition Sensor

I'm swapping out steering columns today to gain power tilt/telescoping and paddle shifters. Before I button it up it occurred to me there might be a Key Fob sensor in the steering column that I would need to reuse from the original car. Does anyone know where the sensor is located that allows the push button starting? Thanks a million.

Pretty sure the in-cabin iKey antenna is located in the center cluster near the radio and AC controls. I don't think there's anything in the steering column.

Scroll down, find your year and model and you can look it all up in the Factory Service Manuals.
