Hello all! As I was installing a subwoofer in my recently-bought 2009 G37S I noticed this cable coming from underneath the glove box. It was tucked underneath the carpet and seems to run into the back of the head unit. I'm assuming that this isn't stock and that the previous owner put it there.
Any ideas on what it is?

I also found out recently that the head unit's screen is touchscreen! Not sure how I went 3 weeks without noticing that... Smh. I'm pretty sure that doesn't come stock either (right?), so would those two be connected?

BTW it has the tech package if that helps at all

The touchscreen is stock on cars with the tech package.

no clue on the wire except that it does look aftermarket, maybe it went to a radar detector or dashcam or something

Might be a remote wire. See if it has power when on and off. If it's hot only when on its acc wire else its constant on which I've wired to keep USB ports on while car off.
