Part five.
That was pretty much it for the wiring/connecting. Reinstallation is just the opposite of the above. Some people talk about cutting the radio mounting frame (that holds the CD and AC bits together). I didn't do that as I want to have the ability to return the car to stock. Didn't need to either. The new radio fits in fine. I put everything back, cleared the flashing air bag light and started having fun.
With my car, I needed harness #4 from Phoenix. With that, I had no problems with camera, etc. I'm still learning how to change things - Android doesn't always make sense to me. I'd be glad to answer whatever questions I can to help others out. If I don't know, I'll tinker till I figure it out.

Several people have asked for pics of screen clarity. Here's a few I took - please excuse the smudges.

James Bond Spectre:
This was in the garage with LED lighting. Even so, color is very good. Screen resolution is light years ahead of the factory screens. I'm happy.

I have heard that Jobs believed the average person was an idiot. So, he made his products for "idiots". Owning an Android device requires some abilities above owning an Apple device, but it's nowhere near as bad as trying to understand Windows issues.
Android and Linux are very similar, and they are both fairly good solutions considering that they are quite open.
I also can not see your pics!

Are you an Apple guy?

I reposted my pics from Google Photos to imgur. Should be visible now.

Hey Dat240zg ...im on the fence on buying this, will wait out a bit longer and see how the system functions after a few months of daily use etc...BUT even so, that was frigging great detail on that install, making it very straightforward for anyone to attempt, thanks man
