Bluetooth issues
Ok so I have a 2011 g37 coupe with nav. Yes obviously its 2018 and Apple has long since released ios 11 and now they are ready for ios 12.
My issue is that my iphone doesn't really connect well to my bluetooth in the car. Its useable for the talking on the phone but the for audio player, it is super choppy and sometimes it skips. Is there anyways to upgrade the bluetooth system within the car? Without the dealer preferably. I actually bought a NAXA NAB 4003 bluetooth adapter but that didn't work.
Any help guys?

Same issue here with my 11 X Sedan. I just plug my phone in and call it a day. Works much better and my kid likes the album art. I will eventually buy an iPod or old iPhone and just leave it in my center console.

sad that we paid for a2dp and other features we cant use. Codeflux and I have been trying to chase this down for a long time. Ive gone as far as talking to Apple's engineering team.

that's what im working on to figure out. I'm going to start a new thread about it. Ive spent hours upon hours researching, hex editing and searching FCC databases. It appears as though there two bluetooth modules (I could be wrong). One is the hgz0024 which is bluetooth 1.2 and then there is a hgz0025 which according to clarion's documentation is bluetooth 2.0. I think the newer (2013+) infotainments have the updated bluetooth moduels and hence dont have problems. But all of this could be wrong. There's not much info to go on.
