I installed this system and now my vehicle is stuck in park, VDC Off, slip, ABS lights on and my car wouldnt turn off.
Also getting the code P0183 and P0462.
I reinstalled the factory system and the same problem persist.
Did anyone experience this problem before?

My car wouldn't turn off when I was changing the dashboard and messed radio up connections. I was freaked out as much as you are now most likely. I would suggest to disassemble the radio and check every connection and make sure it's properly connected. I think it could also be a good idea to disconnect the battery during installation. not sure why radio is a part of ignition chain but it is what it is. also, your errors are pointing to fuel so not sure how those are related, maybe just coincidence.
hope it helps.

well, i couldn't change from P to any other mode because i couldn't turn off the car and when i turned it off by disconnecting the battery i couldn't start it anymore until i fixed the wiring. as for the lights i only got TPMS light on and it was a pain to reset it. no other lights for me.

I refitted all the harness and none of the warning lights show up now.
However, my car is currently still at park (i cannot move the shifter at all). The AC of my car is not working along with the climate control *****/buttons on the front panel, the audio **** works fine though.

So i finally got my VLINE VL2 unit which grom was kind enough to sell me for $400 if I provide installation video which i did. To be honest while the unit is definitely a great upgrade i with it would cost $400 without a hassle of shooting an installation video and then trying to upload it to PC from an iphone (never again).
Anyway, installation is pretty straightforward, the only pain is the amount of wire behind the unit making it a snug fit. I Connected mic through A-pillar and attached it just above the rearview mirror, looks OEM AF. I connected GPS Unit above A-pillar to the right.
Today i downloaded an update and airplay is now available. I played with it for an hour and with this about of beta-testing it works like a charm. We'll see what happens next.
I finally ditched my wireless charger which was sucked to the windshield so not only grom gave me airplay but also added 5% of FOV.
A few notes from me:
1. I get echo which is a usual issue according to the forum.
2. I wish A/C controls were integrated with GROM unit so system wouldn't have to go back to OEM software to adjust the AC
3. There is no volume indicator so I have no idea what the volume is, as a result sometimes I am surprised with a huge amount of volume into my year.
As soon as I'm confident with the unit I will try to figure out a way to install it behind the glovebox as the unit is pretty big so the glovebox is non existent with it (i'll take airplay vs glovebox anyday though).
Overall, with 40k miles on my G my car feels like 10 years newer now with GROM unit as this was the only thing G was lacking comparing to majority of modern vehicles.
Definitely recommend.

Hopefully we can revive this thread a little since this really is a cool little box. Like kinet3k said it makes the car feel way more modern but it still has the downside of being an aftermarket product.
I wanted to come in here to see if anyone else is trying to use AndroidAuto via USB and how it's working for them. Mine will work sometimes but then at times it will display a screen that looks like music controls with the title AndroidAuto, so the only thing I see at this point is the pause and skip buttons. I am trying to pinpoint if it's my phone having issues or the Vline itself.

I couldn't find another post sharing this idea anywhere, hope some of you find it useful. I didn't like the idea of giving up my glove box space for the vline2 unit, so I found that it fits very nicely behind the ECU bracket (I used velcro to attach it). Even had enough room left for a Raspberry Pi in there too.
The downside is that accessing the auxiliary ports becomes challenging. I opted to run usb extension cables to the glove box, but I still have to take apart the dash if I need to change any other connections. Another option is the remove the bottom portion of the glove box dash piece - it isn't visible unless you stick you head into the footwell - this will give you access to the auxiliary ports if you orient them down.

However, ever since I've done this, I started getting strange intermittent "charge system failure" problems with my car (battery + brake light).
I replaced the battery, problem persists.
Is it possible that the Vline rubbing on the ECU bracket causes a short or parasitic power draw when car is off?
I used tie wraps to fit it in.

All I can say is that there are A LOT of sharp edges in that area. My bloodied knuckles can attest to that. I am sure that the V-Line module (and whatever else aftermarket you have in there) have plastic housings. However, all it takes is one wire to get cut/damaged and cause a ton of problems.
As you asked in your other thread, the orange light on the gear shifter should not be turning on once you leave the car. That light should only turn on when you unlock/open the door (or trunk) and should go off within a few seconds of closing/locking the doors. Does the OFF light on your ENGINE START BUTTON also light?
If the gear shifter light is coming on by itself then something is "waking the car up" which is preventing the car from "going to sleep-" hence your parasitic drain. If this is directly related to your "NO CHARGING" condition I do not know.
You mentioned a remote start unit in your other thread. I would totally disconnect that and see what happens.

I am not sure if the Vline has a plastic housing, feels like thin steel to me.
The OFF light doesn't turn on. Since I unplugged the remote starter module, the orange light on the shifter stopped turning on and off like it did before, but charging failure lights keep appearing when I turn on the car.
Here is how my setup looks like :

If the V-Line is metal, I would wrap it with some foam tape or similar just to isolate it from hitting anything.
Something in that jumble of aftermarket pieces is creating your problem. Could be anything: faulty module, incorrect wiring, bad wiring...
With the orange light not blinking, did you recheck for any more parasitic drain?

Yeah, me too, I also think something in this mess could be causing the problem. I'll do another parasitic drain test later today.
I booked an appointment with a remote starter specialist, so he can look at my setup.
