I'm glad you were able to upgrade out of it! Hopefully insurance was able to help cover that. I love the V37 models a lot; wish they would come with a manual option. I'll send them an email now and PM you when I hear back.

Anyone happen to know which cable is for the touch screen specifically? I installed it last week before I knew I didn't have all the cables but I'm pretty sure the factory touch was working. Finally got hooked up and into the Vline unit but have no touch now. Don't feel like taking everything apart for a third time right now but probably will tomorrow.

Edit: Just double-checked everything since I had a little time. Everything is where it should be and all the cables are snug so I'm not sure. Probably going to be a Grom question but it's just really weird only touch doesn't work.

I had a Vline v1 installed in my g for a couple of months before selling it. I mainly used it with Android Auto, but CarPlay worked as well. For my purposes, it served me really well. I actually ended up pulling it out before selling the car. I am planning on posting it FS in the next couple days if anyone is interested.

Hi Grom after a recent software update and firmware update my grom vline2 is giving me lots of problems. On start up the touch screen does not work although the rest of the system appears to be working if I use the scroll wheel. The grom audio will radomnly heighten my screen brightness when I'm driving, so much so it's blinding at night and it won't let me turn the brightness down for a while until it unfreezes whatever it has going on and then it functions like normal. I have tried unplugging and replugging the system multiple times, leaving it unplugged overnight and the problem persists. That or on start up the screen will be just blank and the backup camera won't show. And nothing will show up on screen, even though I can press the source button and the regular radio plays in the background

can you please help with this.

I check after every update, including the latest. The echo still exists. Also, it would be nice to have separate volume settings for voice calls / music. I've contacted support on both. I believe they said it's being worked on.

same here. I opened a ticket with GROM. After a lot of testing they have decided to send out an update that will allow us to change some parameters to fight the echo. I am wondering if this is an isolated issue to you and me or everyone with G37 is experiencing this.

Hello Grom after a recent update my back up camera no longer appears when I go into reverse
If I turn to reverse the screen will just go to the iPod menu screen in the g37 but no back up camera, I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the vline but the problem persists. Would you be able to look into this

Hi Grom, after the latest update the screen goes is not blank. the only way to get it to work is by disconnecting and reconnecting the cables at the back of the unit every time I start the car. this is very annoying. please fix this.

i wonder if there are any news from grom? i'm on the fence of buying the hardware but looks like here and on lexus club people have lots of issues. definitely not going to drop $600 to get a bunch of bugs.
