Bose, replacement speakers

Would it be worthwhile to replace the front door speakers in my coupe with some 2ohm Infinity Kappa components, or is has the sound already had the life filtered out of it by the Bose amp before it gets to the speakers?

I added a powered sub, which helps a lot, but the mids and highs are just mud. The highs are not crisp - just annoying.

The headunit and the bose amp are the reason for the lack of sound quality.

Swapping speakers will help but it probably won't make as large as a difference as you hope.
