Would like my ipod to work immediately. Not sure if the iPod cable will be with car.

I'm also not sure whether I can post a pix...but here goes....

Is this the cable I need on a 2012 G37?

I have a 12xs coupe and just have my iPhone plugged into the usb port in the center console with the usb charge cable that came with phone and it interfaces fine that way. You should be fine with that.

Thanks. My charging cable is long gone. My nano has been installed in my Tbird for the last 4+ years. That was a special cable for a 10 YO Tbird. It emulated a Sat connection. I can get one of these easily if there is none with the car. Again, thanks.
