Bluetooth Audio Streaming
Hello!!! This is my first thread here
I have a 2012 non-nav G37. I've been doing quite a lot of research on bluetooth music streaming on this forum as well as on the internet. Most of the solutions I found involved emulating the XM radio. I've come across this solution in the link below:
It is exactly what I want to do: just plug n play, no wire cutting involved!
Well, I bought all the things described in the thread, but somehow it didn't work.
So, does anyone here have this set-up working in his car? Or if you have a working solution, please share.
Thanks in advance!!

I'm in the same boat. 2012 non-nav and have found nothing that works just plug and play.
Can't you just use this by itself?

I tried to connect the tune2air like in the instructions in the link as well as just the device alone. It just didn't want to work.
I also tried to disconnect and reconnect the device multiple times. Some times the audio system tried to read the device but then the screen displayed "check connected device." But most of the times, the system didn't bother reading the device as if nothing was connected to it.

Did you update the device firmware?

I did not. but I already return it anyway.
I found the "supposedly" newer version of this product called Tune2air WMA 2000. It is, I assumed, only sold in Europe. I don't see any seller in the US that sells this. I wish someone with a G could test this out.

However, I plan to buy the newer version, tune2air WMA2000, which has the USB port instead of the 30-pin female port.
My car only has the USB port, not the 30-pin cable like in older G. Hopefully it will work! If not, I might give the WMA1000 another try with the set-up you mentioned.
