Waddup fellas,

I just got my g37s and when I picked it up I noticed there's a small round button by the dash infront the shifter, when I press it my screen goes blank and says AV1. However I thought it was a kill switch to bypass the DVD playing while parked feature. But that dosent work. I played around a few times and all I see is AV1 and a blank screen? Anyone expierenced with this? In addition, I noticed another 3 way switch by the foot well but can't figure out what's that for either? It's not for fogs because it's the type s without foglights..appriciate your help

Those are not factory switches so nobody can tell you anything about them definitively except the person who out them in. I'd guess the one that says av1 is a switched video input source but there's no way to know where it leads. Follow the wires.

Also, any discussion of bypassing the restriction of video not being capable of playback unless the vehicle is stopped is strictly forbidden on this forum. You can search for it and easily find it elsewhere if you like. It's not difficult to find it to do.
