HIDEAWAY Install - Power Cable to Battery Question
Hello,
I am purchased a Kicker Hideaway powered amp and reviewed the installation guide and have a question.
The attached picture shows the cable end that needs to be connected to the battery and I am wondering how I can do that.
When I searched the forum for DIY, the others have inserted the power cable from the engine bay to the passenger glove cabinet area.
However, for this wire, I don't think I can do it like the DIY and asking for help!
I also attached the installation guide from Kicker.
(I do need to splice a part with a fuse by the end of the cable, but it is still same concept)
This is my first audio part install, Please help!

you need ring terminals and a fuse.
**Please do not install this with out a fuse**
find one that will fit that size wire (looks like 12-10ga)
run the wire into the cab though the large rubber gromet behind the battery.
Its probably 4-6" around.
Cut a hole in the grommet.
Removed the glove box and interior carpet/panels around the area.
Run power wire to the rear of the car.

Check out this article on a sister site. Its got some nice pictures. Even though your wire is about 1/20th the size, Id route it the same way
