08 g35 sedan to 08 g37 navi swap

I been a proud owner of an 08 g35 sedan for 6 years and just brought a sexy vbrant red 08 g37s (pics soon). Love the sporty upgrade but I do miss the navi and camera. The sedan is staying in the family so I thought why not do a swap

Has anyone done a couple/sedan swap? Physically the units look exactly the same (besides the buttons) but I have no idea whats on the behind.

yes it possible i have done a nav swap . it would be easier to get a radio for your new car bc you will have rewire 2 cars instead of one. a nav swap is time consuming and requires splicing in to the factory harness or making you own harness to make it plug and play like i did

What if i swap the hardness as well? Looking at your video and pic, I'm thinking this is not a simple plug and play swap as I was hopping.

its a lot easier than a harness swap.

first you got got to see if the g35 one will work in the g37
then you have to take the dash apart you also want to add the backup camera so that requires taking the rest of the car apart to install that harness.

Thinking about taking the dash apart and looking behind both. Doesn't look too bad to take it apart. What should I be looking for to know if they're compatible?
