Questions about 2009 G37xS Bose Audio/Navi System

Hey guys,
I own a 2009 G37xS that has the integrated Bose Audio/Navigation System, which is meh.

Two Questions:

1. I have been unable to locate any equalizer controls through the system, and can only control Bass/Treble/Fade. Does this system have an EQ that I've just over looked? If No, is there a way to "hack" or update the system to provide this functionality? I have no interest in playing video DVD's on my LCD, simply would like the ability to get finer control of music playback.

2. I've read mixed responses on using DVD-RW discs in the system for audio playback in the forums. Again, don't care about video, would simply like to play DVD-RW's through the system.

If this is possible, please note which format you save the music on the disc. I use Daemon Tools and Astroburn, so I can save files to DVD-RW in multiple formats, just need to know which work.

Thanks in advance!

Bose knows music better than you and me. Be glad that they even gave you control over Treble/Bass and their Driver's Stage programming.

In all seriousness, I've never seen a way to hack into the EQ that involves using the current Bose system.
