Any weirdness with iOS7 BT connection

After the update it seems to loose connection randomly. I blame the phone not the car. If it disconnects, turning the phone off and on again won't reconnect as it should. You have to wait until the car is cycled on and off.

In the past, if my phone died, obviously it becomes disconnected. But then if you plug it in it will reconnect. Not so with this update.

I just got 7.0.4 (came out this past week). I'll go outside and run an experiment.

Failed.

So. I started my car and the phone auto paired...as always. Then I turned off BT on my phone. Car disconnects. Ok cool. Turn BT back on (on the phone) and no reconnect. Power the phone off then on again, no reconnect. Leave the phone on. Power the car off (wait 10 seconds till you can hear the infiniti hard drive shut down) and repower the car. BT connects to the phone.

So in short, iPhone 5 iOS 7.0.4 (really has done this since 7.0) may randomly drop BT connection with 2012 G37 w/nav. Won't re-connect until car is powered off then on.

I think you could go ahead and do it. It's not 7.0.4 that is the problem. Its been happening for several weeks....started after the jump from 6.x to 7.0.

I've been dealing with the same issue and it's quite frustrating. I searched the forum recently and found a thread suggesting that I should turn off the "sync contacts" under BT. That seemed to reduce the issue significantly but it still happened again last night, so it's not a solution but it did help.

Try deleting your phone from car and car from phone. Then pair them. Should take care of your issue.
