yeah, I agree but I was driving the fx loaner so I didn't sweat it. I have to make another appointment because now the lighting around my analog clock flickers.

Took mine in a couple weeks ago. No arguments from them, took them a night to get the new XM antenna and it has been much better than before. It only cuts out where our other car cuts out. All under warranty and most surprisingly was no pushback from them at all. Even got a loaner for the night. If you're in DC area, I used Coleman Infiniti.

I'm new to the forum and just purchased a 2010 G37 sedan journey. I constantly get a no signal on my xm radio and have to send a reactivation signal. It works for a little while than I have to reactivate the signal. Wife has a 2014 Toyota Highlander and we don't have this problem at all. Tried to send a reactivate signal today and still no signal. Will talk to dealer but trying to see if others have had this issue and what the fix was. Thanks!

Mine wasn't as bad as yours, but it would lose signal very easily. The dealer replaced the antenna and it's been better so far.

Just found this thread and am fed up with mine. I did look at the settings in the radio and it showed the signals were fine. Im gonna call them and setup and appointment for this week. They knew it was coming and would setup a loaner car. So should tell them not to bother with everything and just replace the antenna? Another weird thing that happens is I know when I turn the car off it will be on a channel but turn the car back on and it has a preview channel on.

The dealership had my car all day and say they couldnt duplicate the problem. They wanted to know if a tech could drive my car home. I said umm no way. Well your car is ready to be picked up then. I live 30 miles away from the dealership and dont want to keep driving back and forth but dont want to deal with the issue either. Any suggestion on trying to get this fixed?

So anybody else have problems with their xm radio? Like resetting itself to the preview channel. How can I actually get the dealer to do anything? Think they were crazy wanting a tech to drive my car home.

Before you spend a lot of time and $$, do check your Infiniti's battery. Frequent signal loss from all satellite stations occurred in the 2 weeks prior to my battery's failure. It also appeared to instigate erratic external temperature readings right before failing to start the car.

Dealership changed out my battery on my last service visit and there was no improvement on the poor reception for me. I'm not sure how a weak battery would impact the signal strength.
