Odometer scam backfires!
Here's an odometer scam that will bite you in the a$$:
If you pull the instrument cluster fuse to try to stop the odometer it will work, BUT after 30 miles of unlawful driving bliss your G will cut off fuel and you will come to a complete stop, with no hope of restarting even if you replace the fuse...
Trust me, I know someone that tried that. He was on his way to work only to find himself stranded at the side of the highway. After a brief panic attack, he regained his cool, replaced the fuse and disconnected the neg. battery terminal for a few seconds. The car fired up and my friend never tried that again.

Your friend is an idiot. The worst type of idiot is the kind who's convinced that he's a genius and can outsmart smart people. Maybe he learned a lesson and won't try to be a scheming azzhole trying to beat the next guy who buys the car.
Besides, there's other ways to accomplish what he tried to do that work much better.
