On my 11 G coupe, when I try to fast forward thru an MP3 file, it jumps 30 seconds at a time, with a long pause between jumps. It is ridiculous and practically useless. You hear a brief half second sample followed by a couple seconds silence, then another half second sample. Fast forwarding on old vinyl records is more ergonomic.

Is there some trick to make this work better???
