You need to call escort back and request a filter to be added to the sensor. Tell them that there is a known interference from G37's display screen. They will ask you to send in the unit and they will make the modifications.
So I did a little test tonight. Had the detector on and of course it immediately started with the laser warning going off. So I figured I'd try to cover up the led screen, and sure **** enough the laser warning went off. Uncovered it, and it started again, covered it up and went away......did it a few more times just to make sure, but you were right on the money.

I'll be calling them in the morning to set p the filter install..

Thanks again for all the responses everyone

so here's a little piece of karma.

in one of my above posts i said that i contacted escort and they were going to send me out another power cord. i assumed that it was just the little 8" pigtail that came with the mount.

turns out i got it today, and it's not the pigtail....it's the on-live cord, which i never bought.

lucky me haha

I have a Beltronics Pro500 (9500ix clone) and experienced the same laser falses when BlendMounted to the rear view mirror of my 2012 G37. If you mess around with positioning using the adjustment in the BlendMount you can reduce the false laser alarms.

Another problem you may encounter is that the 9500ix may have a hard time finding a satellite and staying locked on to it. The detector needs a clear view of the sky for GPS to work its best. With the BlendMount there is just too much in the way. I finally gave up and reverted to windshield mounts.

The BlendMount was great when I had the Bel RX65 which does not have the GPS feature. Anyone in need of a BlendMount and stealth cord for their G37 ;-)

sorry to revive an old thread but I just got a 9500ix for xmas from woot. They were selling refurb units. I replaced an old 7500 with mike's mount and stealth cord to the rear view mirror. However I have the same issue, my nav screen makes the laser to nuts. How did it work out for you getting that filter installed, and did it cost you anything?

I'm using the window suction cups just below the RVM and the stealth cord just barely reaches no laser falsing. With the mikes mount the GPS generally works, for the falsing was driving me bonkers, and using the wired cord from the lighter drives me bonkers!
