Download Handset Phonebook to Vehicle
I have a 2013 G37 IPL Coupe and a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and despite meticulously following the owner's manuals of both, I am unable to download my handset phone book to the vehicle. As you know, you cannot access the handset phone book through the nav interface while the car is moving, so this is a real problem for me. Anyone experience and solve this problem already?

I was never able to figure this out so I eventually just manually entered in the people that I called most often. You can access any contacts with voice command during motion but only if it's in the nav. Same with navigation functions such as street address.

I have a 2010 G37S with GS3 and I could see the phone's contact list, but I couldn't transfer those to the "car's contact list." So I just manually transferred about 10-20 of my main contacts; it shouldn't take too long since you don't have to actually enter the numbers. Just go under the Vehicle's contact list, press Add New, and it should let you pick a contact from the phone list.
The annoying thing is that you can only see the first 10 contacts while the car is in motion.
