Passkey

Hey everyone, I'm trying to connect my new Ipod Nano via bluetooth. I get to a screen that requires a "pass key" though. Does anyone have any idea where or what this is? I looked in the Ipod paperwork and its not for that.

it's the passkey you type in the navigator screen when you tell it to be discoverable
you set it yourself

It's a PIN for the Bluetooth pairing process. It depends on which device is discovering which. I believe if you set the car as discoverable, you'll need to enter the car's code (usually 1234) on the device you are pairing. If you set the device as discoverable and scan it from the car, you'll need to enter the device's code on the car. You can use any code you like, as long as they match up.
