New phone doesnt work usb

Ok so I bought the Galaxy Note 2 and when I tried to play music usb it doesnt work. I looked all over the interweb and checked the forum and found nothing. What app would I need to make it work? I apologize ahead of time if I made a repeat thread on this issue.

Bluetooth is your only option for now.
Android devices don't present over USB the same way an iOS device does.
At best, you might be able to hack your device to present as simple USB storage, but there will be no integration.

I have a galaxy nexus phone and can do most things over bluetooth with Jellybean 4.1 and 4.2, including play/pause/skip. It just won't push meta-data (artist/track name) because Android hasn't incorporated AVRCP 1.3 yet.

If you're having trouble connect it for bluetooth, try unpairing ALL devices with the car and start over from scratch. It should work eventually. It took me a couple tries.
