so I have an 08 non-Nav, with Bose. Will it be a problem if I installed an 11-12 Nav in my car? What are the main differences between the earlier and later model Navigations?

Shouldnt be a problem, I think someone already done the upgraded...
The newer model has a high reso screen, touch screen, and I believe the Hard Drive has a built in Music box with memory..

I have a 2008 G37 coupe non navi, and I think its Bose. Its a G37S base. I really don't care about the navigation or replacing my screen. What I really would like is bluetooth so I can do hands free calls and more importantly, BT audio streaming. And potentially increase the audio quality as well.
What parts can I switch to achieve this?
Thanks for any help

With 2010 through 2013 there is a telephone adapter unit that sits on the underside of the rear shelf. Look at the schematics for your model year and see if 2008s are the same. Assuming it does you'll need to look under the rear shelf to see if the wiring harness is at least there. If it is then you should be able to buy one on ebay and just plug it in. If it isn't you'll also need to run all the wires which would be a difficult task from front to back. You'll also need to check and see if you have a mic already installed or not. It is located under the center map lights.
