Post Factory Amp Processor
All,
I am currently planning on upgrading the factory Bose system.
New fronts, rears and subs.
What processor is being used? I am seeing Audison Bit One, RF 3sixty.3, AudioControl blah blah blah blah blah. What do you guys recommend?
Is the financial investment for the Bit One and 3Sixty.3 really worth it?
Thanks,
Grey

If you love to tune the bitone is a great choice.
Havent messed with the 3sixty.3. I know the older rockford processors had connection problems. I hope they have fixed all this.
How many channels are you planing on running?

I have a '10 sedan, so I will be running some sort of Focal 2 or 3 way component set up in the front, coaxils for rear fill and some sort of sub setup, most likely JL.
I just purchased the car and the factory sound system just doesn't do it for me.
Anyway any help will be greatly appreciated.

the bit one and 3sixty.3 are made to control 8 channels.
If you run a 3 way set up + rear co-ax + a sub = 9 channels.
I would not run rear speakers unless you really really need them. Save the money you would have spent and buy some better mids.
Also, dont buy into the 3way sounds better than a 2way. This is not always true and can present a big issue if you (or your installer) aren't that great at tuning a set up.

Blaze - If the Component set comes with its own crossover wouldn't that reduce the # of channels to 5?

I'm doing almost the same thing with a 09 G37x Coupe. Hertz HDP 5 5 channel amp, Focal 165 KRX2 2 way components in the front, entry level Focal 690 CA1 SG for rear fill, and Hertz HX 250D 10" sub. The amp and sub is already in and although the factory speakers sound a lot better with the Hertz amp, they just don't cut it. The Focal speakers are going in next Tuesday. I'm just waiting on a JL Audio CL441dsp Cleansweep to arrive for the DSP.
I'd originally bought Focal 165 V33 3 way components but they will not fit in the door without cutting into the metal because the 4" mid is too big.
