just a wild guess...but try using a 7440 bulb instead of 7443. I believe the sockets are the same, but the 7440 is a single filament bulb, so it should just blink like the rear signals. let me know if that works.

I've seen several G Sedans on the road that have done exactly that.

Anyone?

it does work, I put in led's so that it would be white/clear even during the day, but they blink twice as quick now, not sure but think it may think there is a bilb out. Going to try regular 7440 ambers tomorrow on the other side because I ran out of daylight. I also changed out the fogs to PIAA's while under the car and match pretty good and more reliable in my opinion the hid conversion

if you use LED bulbs, you need to install a load resistor on each bulb to eliminate the hyper flash.

Those PIAA's are looking really good! What the specs on those PIAA's?

Let us know how the 7440 ambers fits and works, maybe some pics too...

The piaas are the extreme white h8 bulbs. And as far as the single element yellow 7440 goes it looks the same as the stock bulb but only lights up with the the blinkers. Going to find some error free LEDs or add the resistors.

final result with PIAA fogs and led 7440 yellows thought the rapid turn signal is annoying it is better than having a yellow 7440 nonled in there at least in my opinion. I will add resistors or get the error free bulbs at some other time.

There's another option without using the LED bulbs > 7440 Chrome Amber Light Bulbs.

Check out this thread:

Found these on ebay:

at this point i am not sure it matter does it? either i put in a resistor / change to the chrome bulb or live with the retarded hyper blink. two of the options require jacking up the car and taking off the wheels and plastic shield and either way im spending more money. Are the LEDs more reliable?

I would look at installing the load resistor in the trunk. Tap into the wires from the taillights. Should still work, being on the same circuit.

for this option, use the 3ohm resistor. this will work for front and rear. 6ohm resistor will only work for 1 bulb (bulb you install the resistor at).

Can the turn signal bulbs on the G Sedan (2010, prob same as the 2012) be changed via the engine bay by removing the air intake boxes?

See post #95 from:
https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...acement-7.html

Thanks,

Thanks,

I don't think so. I looked at this option swing as I didn't want to take tire off and pull out plastic but it seems to be the only way. Where would I find a 3 ohm resistors? All I have seen are a plug and play kind from jdmtoys.
