I just recently bought a 2010 g37x. Whenever I play music, there is a rattling and sort of muffled audio produced by the rear passenger speaker on the right. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

 

Is it still under warranty?

If it is, take it in. If its the speaker, they'll replace it.

I am experiencing the same problem as OP. And its the same (passenger side rear door) speaker that is making a rattling/crackling/distorted noise when playing audio.

OP, did you take your car to the dealer? Were they able to resolve the speaker issue?

 

Sounds like a blown speaker.
