Have a 2009 Sedan. Anyone UPDATE Navigation W/ New CD's?? On sale through June!
I have a 2009 G37 Sedan I just got 3 weeks ago. Sometimes it doesn't find the right roads. I live in Dallas, TX and some of the newer back roads don't always sshow up. I think it also adds Points of Interest too.
It's on Sale for $199 (Normally $250) through June 30th!
Here is the Links:
CampaignLanding - Infiniti Navigation Map Updates

If anyone has done it, did it make a Big Difference? Is it easy to update?
Thanks
Gary

To find your Unit ID (That is needed to order)
To purchase an activation code, you will need the Unit ID from your nav system. To find the Unit ID on your navigation system:
1. Push Info
2. On the Information screen, Highlight [Map Update] and push <ENTER>.
3. Write down the Unit ID that appears on the resulting screen (you do not need to record the
hyphen):
4. Exit the Map Update screen by pressing the [BACK] button.

OK, called first Link, Campaign Landing. It is normally $149, but through June 30th, 2012 its $50 OFF! They sold it to me for $99 plus tax. $107.00 Finall Price, BUT, since I have a 2009 with a Hard Drive, the DEALER is the only one that can install it. I called and it cost $109 for DEALER to install it, MORE $$$$ than the actual product itself cost!!
Oh, when you purchase, they just give you a CODE (Unique to YOUR car) and you give that code to the dealer. If you have an 08, I think they send you discs and you can do the update yourself!
I think they have some flexibility with what they charge, but that's the quick answer when I called.
Still the update came out Jan 2012 and mine being over 3 years out of date, I figured it's worth it.
never been to Dealer as my car is a month old, but going Friday so I am going to get them to do this for me.
