Cheaper alternative?

I borrowed one from a friend and just bought my own. An example on ebay:

ELM327 Bluetooth V1 5 OBD2 Obdii CAR Auto Diagnostic Scanner Adapter Code Reader | eBay

Generally about $10-15 shipped. Mine took quite a while to arrive though.

Since you're reading off of an andriod device, those of you that want a reading/display constantly while you're driving could by a used Android phone for cheap, and mount that somewhere in your car instead. Just an idea.

On that note, I'm trying to figure out what the P0440 Evaporative Emissions issue means. I'm going to gather more details, but if there's a more appropriate location on the forum to post questions about OBD codes, let me know.

Thanks guys.
