Trunk mount subwoofer

Dose anyone make a subwoofer enclosure for the trunk of a G37 vert? Or has anyone had a custom box built? I'd love to find something that would hold a 10" and still be able to drop the top. The Bose system sounds great but needs a little more bump.

trunk? there is no trunk!
I think it would be awefully tough to fit a 10" sub in there. If you want to add some thump, check the space behind the rear seats where the factory sub is and see if you can add a supplemental amp and sub...

Good luck!

There should be some usable space where the spare tire should go(if we had one?!?) Iv seen some nice fiberglass setups in other cars that use that space. I was thinking a good low profile 10 with plenty of power could add some bump. I just have no clue how to measure airspace and what not for a sub.

Guess I'll hit up a couple local shops and see what some pros think.

I have an Infinity (with a Y) Basslink in my trunk and it really complements the stock system well and looks almost factory.

I tried an 8" and took it right back out. They can complement a system when you have a few of them by filling in the frequencies between the bigger subs and front speakers. Unfortunately, small subs by themselves just don't cut it. I have always liked the frequency response I have gotten out of 12's.

Does anyone else have any pictures of their set up? I have not seen anyone else do it other than the youtube video mentioned earlier.

If you look at the second to the last picture you will see the amp in the back. I made a slot so it would fit flush.
