Just got my DVDs today. I only had time to update the firmware. Some info for others who might be interested.
The new firmware version is X1UA2001. This is a completely new firmware. Even if you had the latest bluetooth TSB done, this firmware is newer. I only played with it for a few seconds but I noticed that the interface is indeed faster and smoother. And the navigation voice has been changed. Instead of two different voices, now it's one consistent voice.
If you just want the firmware update, it does not require a CD key and can be shared. You can PM me if you're interested in the firmware update.

I've been thinking about about updating my 08 maps but I was wondering if anyone with a 2010 to 2012 updates can please check (just navigate to and make up a house number) and see if these streets are listed for London, Ontario Canada so I can decide if its worth it or not.
Oakcrossing Road
Navin Crescent
These are the latest updates to Google maps so I'm hoping at least one of these streets have been put on the updates.

Oakcrossing road is on the map, although the intersection to Beaverbrook ave is missing. In addition, redtail trail is not on the map. If I could post an image I would show you.

How many members downloaded the DVD's while their engine was running and how many with the engine off?
I should get my update Monday and would just as soon not leave the engine running for 90 minutes, just to download the DVD's.
I thought I would fully charge the battery with my smart charger and leave it hooked up while I did the download.

Should be fine with the car engine off. I installed my update with the car in ACC mode. I had zero problem starting the car the next day. But I have an optima yellow top. If you charge your battery fully and leave the charger trickling, it should be fine.

I didn't want to run the engine for 90 minutes either.
I took a chance with ACC but didn't have an issue. I think if your battery is in good shape and you don't have any battery drain issues you should be fine.
I dimmed the nav screen as much as I could and kept the doors closed and the interior lights off. You have to run through all 4 discs before the system is usable.
The nav screen has a warning about disturbing the ignition while loading a disc. However, after you eject a disc you can change the ignitiion settings. Shut down, start the engine etc.

I ran into a problem installing the application software disc.
According to step 8, if the last 5 digits of the current version (shown in white), on the screen, is lower then the update disc version it needs to be updated.
My problem is my current last 5 digits are 52008 the new last 5 digits are A2001. So the new version doesn't have 5 digits at the end.
My 2010 was built 12/09.
I called customer service for the disc, and have been on hold for 45 minutes so far.

I say go ahead and update to A2001. As far as I know, A2001 is the latest firmware version for the 2010 navigation. I believe they use hexidecimal for the last 5 digits to determine version number. In hexidecimal the letter A represents 10. So technically, the A2001 is a higher version number than your current one.

Edit: I installed it without a problem.
