Need Help With Viper alarm
Hey Guys,
I recently had installed a viper 5704 remote start/alarm with shock and proximity sensor on my g37. The problem is the remote start always causes my tire pressure light to flash and then stay solid(which i read is a faulty sensor), i have been to the dealer about 3 times since the install. The dealer even said on my last visit that it blew out the BCM. I am about to have the installer remove the remote start, but I was just wondering if you guys have any ideas, comments on why this keeps happening?

It sounds to me like the installer didn't know what he was doing. I had a Viper 5902 installed a few months ago and had no issues. After I remote start it, I just press the start button twice to "On" and off I go. The TPMS light should illuminate briefly for about a second and then shut off by itself. I know the remote start is pretty challenging for installers because of the push button bypass. Was the person who installed it a Viper authorized vendor?

Yea I have to do the same thing, once I remote start i push the start button twice, the tire pressure light does light on briefly then goes away, but after two - three weeks, that light starts blinking and then stays solid, went to the dealer each time and they verified it wasnt anything with the tire pressure sensors themselves. The dealer is a viper licensed dealer that installs all the alarms and remote starts for my local infiniti dealer!!
