Just bought my 2008 Coupe. Was told the battery will soon need to be replaced. Does the NAV/Sound system need a code once the new battery is reconnected?? I went through the entire manual and it is not mentioned anywhere. Thanks!

 

When my dealer replaced the battery on my ’08 coupe I was presently surprised that all audio, seat memory, navigation etc. settings were as I had them before. I believe they have a device to transfer these settings in such instances so the owner does not have to do a thing.

 

No there isn't a code or anything you will need to input.

 

You could replace your battery while the car is turned ON which will save all of your settings.

 

That would be a bad idea.

The only thing I would do when replacing the battery on a coupe is roll the windows down, and then do the window reset procedure after installing it.
