For some reason, I took out a cd from the cd player earlier then I should (like just right when it was about half way). Now it keeps on showing me "eject cd" all the time. It would allow me to go to different CD compartments on the screen but I don't hear any switching. In addition, I could press all the buttons and it works fine except for the "eject" and "load" buttons.

I was going to try to reset the car system by removing the negative side from the battery but I haven't had the time. I might do it tomorrow or this weekend.

Not sure what to think of it... any suggestions?

You probably messed up the gears inside the audio unit. If you still have warranty, bring it to the dealership and play dumb. Otherwise, you'll have to open up everything and fix the gears.
