When the car is moving? I thought video was disabled when the car was moving.

The cutouts are there but they are filled so it appears that it may be an option. The salesman told me that he had yet to see any 2012 with the RCA jacks. Any ideas guys?
2007, only RCA
2008-2009, RCA and USB
2010, G37 Base has RCA. The Journey, X and S only have USB
2011-2012..., just a USB (no more G37 Base model)

It is a bit frustrating. Not everyone uses an iToy of some type. I have an old 60GB iPod classic/video which works well and stays in the armrest. I have my BB paired for Phone/Audio streaming. It works very well for both via BT.

I suppose that the USB port can also be used with a media storage device although I imagine it's not a very user friendly setup to some.
Infiniti should have included a standard/simple 3.5mm audio jack for some.

So, for the 2010-2012 G37 models. Do you still have the option to watch videos while the car is parked with e brake on.

Yes, via the in-dash DVD/CD player or USB memory stick in the armrest which will play DivX avi files.

Another thing that bothers me about 2012 G - what's with the Compact Flash reader?!!!!!!!!!!! 1999 called - they want their memory standard for digital cameras back! Jeez, if you want to use this antique format for the memory at least put another USB port and/or SD card reader there.

The only props I have to give to Infiniti - is moving CF reader from the center console to the dark and murky place by the steering wheel. It belongs there.

There is no compact flash on a 2012, 09 was the last year for that.
