Was very surprised. Hit a traffic jam in a place where normally traffic is minimal. Out of curiousity I did traffic info on the nav unit and an accident came up as the first entry, fairly accurately, with the location being a few miles down the road.

As I said, was really surprised, didn't think it worked.

Did it automatically redirect you around the accident?

Having to manually check for traffic info after getting into a jam isnt what I'd call useful. =P

I did not have route guidance on. It will only redirect with route guidance on, and if you have set the option, I believe.

it redirects based on traffic condition when you choose fastest route.

although I can't see paying the extra for the service... stupid xm...

so I just check google maps.
