Can I add Garmin Safety Camera S/W to nav?
I have a 2009 with Nav/Tech/Premium.
Two questions really...
who makes the Nav "package?" Is it Garmin?
And if it is Garmin, can I add the Safety Camera option to it, preferably via a download/subscription from Garmin, ie bypassing the dealer service department?
I tested the feature on my zumo, on my motorcycle, and decided that for $25/year I would not live without it. It works well.

The navi used in these cars is made by clarion. It's highly unlikely anything garmin will work with this setup.
It would be nice if it was similar to the kenwood units that you just update the map on a sd card and stick that in. Same with custom routes. Save it on the sd then upload to the gps. In fact, I don't think any oe or full indash system (kenwood units included) support a custom route option (design on the computer then upload to the navi).
