You could also print and fill out this TSB form and take it with you to the dealership.

I have a 2009 and Infinity just told me iPhone Contacts / Phonebook is not supported on the navagition system. Suggest y'all call Customer Relations 1 800 662-6200. There should be a software upgrade that can be applied, maybe not. But call. The most popular (ok one of) smart phones and it is not supported for phonebook Bad juju.

My 2011 has never worked right with my Droid X. I can access the handset phonebook but only when I'm stopped, and never with the voice commands. Pretty pointless. If I'm stopped I'll just look at the f'ing phone and use that.

rpm&my_G35, If you're trying to make a call, what is the quickest way using:

1) Manual controller
2) voice recognition

For repeated calls I find it quicker to tap the 'phone' button once and then use the steering wheel controls to select from the recent outgoing or incoming calls list.

For rarely used numbers, from my phone address book, I use voice command, ( say the contacts name) so I'm not taking my eyes off the road. It takes a bit longer but I don't have to pull over.

@infinmyg - Were you able to get this to work with the software update. I am facing a similar issue with my 2009 G37 Sedan where I do not see the download phonebook option.

Anyone knows a way to fix this?

@lasyme, the dealer told me the system does not support the iphone4 and that there is nothing they can do. I just push and hold the home button on the phone and use voice command.

Should it work or is this a known issue? On the Nav screen I go into Phon, Phone Book and try to download all, it says my PIN is 1234 but nothing ever pops up on my device. where am I to go on my iPhone to put in the 1234 other than Bluetooth in options?

Thanks,

Still not getting the Prompt on my Phone to enter in 1234 on my Galaxy sIII.
any idea why I can not copy contacts to my g37 from my Galaxy sIII?

To/for the folks that can pair the device but can not synchronize their phone contacts to the car phonebook;

Do you have the contacts stored locally on your device or are they, for example, on your SIM card, cloud based or Google contacts. Contacts stored in this manner have been known to NOT sync with the car.

I am also curious to know if your phone outgoing call logs, incoming call logs and missed call logs are being transferred as they should be.
