Has anyone tried any of these products:

mp3yourcar.com - 2008 INFINITI G37 - iPod and iPhone Car Kits.

This also seems interesting. http://www.radtech.us/products/CablesiPod.aspx

Streaming works using the steps above and the songs can be changed using the steering wheel controls.

I'm going to give a stealership a call and see what they say. I don't see why a software upgrade would be at all difficult...heck, even a hardware swap.

I think a hardware swap might be easier than a software upgrade

Good feature unless your signifigant other is around and you get a questionable text. I am not saying I am bad, but I am not perfect.....lol

I think people should concentrate more on driving. Text messages can wait, I'd its important then call me.

If you have a 2010 or earlier without NAV, you cannot stream music via bluetooth without modifying and buying things. Even worse, in 2010's you don't even get an AUX input of any kind, only the usb port. There's a way to tap into the XM module to give yourself a line input, but I had to turn the sound up to max volume on my phone to get it loud enough and it still isn't. So I basically never use that, and am still looking for a way to amplify the signal. As for the bluetooth to line input adapters, I bought one and it added noise to the sound quality when it was plugged into power, but only in my car, not my home stereo where it worked great. So I sent that back. I give up!

So yeah, a 2010 luxury brand car that has no AUX input and no streaming bluetooth. That seems like an oversight considering my mom's Ford has both. Minor complaint compared to how awesome my car is, but annoying.

I think you can use A2DP (Bluetooth media streaming protocol) if you have the Technology package. If you don't, then you are up a creek without a paddle.
