I'd like to communicate with my iPhone 4S. On say a Plantronics bluetooth headset you press a button and it actives voice entry on the phone.

Can't figure out or find out how to do that in the G. I have a 2011 with Nav & Sound etc. I connect the phone via bluetooth (because I use an old iPod nano on USB for music).

 

Maybe you should ask siri how to

I haven't found a way yet. I did find that Siri works great with the car's bluetooth. It treats Siri like a phone call.

 

I treat Siri like the dirty ***** she is.

 

Awwwww guys... and I was so excited when I saw there were 4 replies to my question thinking someone shared the mystical knowledge of how to get iPhone Voice Command directly through the Infiniti phone interface...

just got my 4s, connects to bluetooth automatically and turns on when i turn on siri too!

 

Not using the steering wheel, but even on my iphone 4, I press and hold the home button and it works over bluetooth.
