USB Port for Music

I just transferred all of my music on a 16gb flash drive and plugged it in. For some reason it shows every single album folder and I am not able to back out to the original artists folder. So I am left with hundreds of separate album folders. Any suggestions?

I don't think the head unit can recognize folder structures more than one deep on flash drives. I had the same problem. I suppose you can take all of the songs out of their album folders and just have a folder for each artist. Also keep in mind for non-nav I think the maximum number of tracks per folder is 255, and 1000 tracks maximum for the drive. I believe nav equipped cars can recognize up to 5000 tracks. None of this applies to using an ipod.

Thanks for the response. Any other mp3 players besides apple products compatible with the vehicle so that I can go deeper than one folder?
