Phone/bluetooth help

Just got my 2011 Convertible and am really struggling with the voice activated phone.
Phone...Vehicle phonebook...john mobile...dial....
is there a faster way to tell the car to dial John's mobile?

The voice recognition is a cute toy but I use it infrequently (mostly because I only drive the Vert with the top down and its disabled).

The easiest solution is to program your favs in as speed dials so all you have to do is press the phone button and then select the # (entry) you want to call - either touchscreen or via steering wheel controls. You can add a voice tag to the speed dial too when you set it up too if you are hell bent on using all the features...

Good luck!

PS - welcome & congrats on the new ride. Cereral2K tells me that red verts are the fastest!

I use it all the time with the top down. Maybe because I don't have Nav? Or did it change after 2009?

Sorry guys - quick clarification. Yes, the phone works with the top down but, the other voice commands like audio, nav etc are disabled. (but you all know this)

I mostly use quick mode unless I'm distracted by driving.

Great suggestion about storing them as numbers - I had them in alpha order, but obviously my ocd didnt help me here!
How do I use quick mode?
